Emergency Preparedness Event: 6pm Wed. May 14th
This 90-minute session will offer tips to help individuals and neighbourhoods be more resilient in an emergency. You’ll learn about the hazards on the North Shore, what goes into making an emergency plan, and how to make an emergency kit or grab-and-go bag. Additionally, you’ll learn about how to apply FireSmart principles to increase the wildfire resiliency of your property and neighbourhood.
This is a FREE event, presented in partnership with North Shore Emergency Management and West Vancouver Fire & Rescue, but seating is limited so pre-registration is required (below).
